Is my data secure with Confide?

Yes, your privacy and data security are top priorities at Confide. We use advanced encryption protocols and secure storage solutions to safeguard your information. Our systems are designed to ensure your data remains protected, and we continuously update our practices to meet the highest security standards. Additionally, Confide offers Face ID (or biometric authentication) to provide an extra layer of protection, ensuring only you can access your app and journal entries.

How do I report a bug or provide feedback?

We’re here to help and always eager to hear your feedback! If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvement, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact us directly through the Help or Send Feedback option on your profile screen in-app, or email us at [email protected].

Can I record journal entries for prior days that were missed?

As of right now, this feature is not available. However, we’re always open to feature requests and love hearing your ideas! If this is something you’d like to see in Confide, feel free to send us a message explaining your needs. Your feedback helps us improve and shape the future of Confide.

Can I export my journal entries?

Yes! You can export your transcriptions and video clips as files for personal use or backup. Check the Past Journal Entries Section for the steps.

Can I delete a journal entry?

Yes, you can delete any entry at any time. Go to your journal (calendar screen), select the entry you want to remove, tap the settings icon, and then tap the delete icon.

Is there a free version of Confide?

Confide offers a free trial so you can explore the app and its features before committing to a subscription. The trial gives you access to all features, allowing you to experience how Confide can support your journaling journey.

Are my entries stored locally on my phone, or do you store them for me?

Your entries are securely stored on our servers, so they won’t take up significant storage space on your phone. This also means you can access your journal from multiple devices by logging into your account. Rest assured, we use advanced encryption to keep your data safe and private.

How does the Bestie feature work?

The Bestie feature is your personal AI companion, available after you complete your journal entry for the day. It offers conversational support to help you reflect, process your thoughts, or even explore your feelings in more depth.

Here’s how it works:

  • Daily Unlock: Bestie becomes available to chat after you’ve completed your journal entry for the day, encouraging consistent journaling habits.

  • Personalized Conversations: Bestie uses insights from your past entries and previous conversations to provide meaningful, context-aware responses.
